Japanese import Masahiro Tanaka made his New York Yankee debut Saturday and impressed.
Tanaka was topping out at 94 mph, gave up two hits, no earned runs, didn’t walk anyone and had three strikeouts in two innings of work.

On the other hand, CC Sabathia looked more Dallas Buyers Club than Yankees ace.

CC walked none and struck out one, but the fastball was as slight as the new build and only hit 88 mph.
The Yankees won 4-0.
