In a case that reads more like a movie script, a Hollywood skin care expert has been arrested and a former Detroit Lion is under investigation in a failed hit man-for-hire plot in southern California, according to TMZ.
The website Heavy obtained text messages that name that player as Chris Geile.
Geile, a replacement player during the 1987 strike who played in only three games for the Lions, was allegedly contacted by skin specialist Dawn DaLuise to kill a rival in the industry.
Hiring a hit man via Facebook seems like a great plan. Police caught wind of the plot and DaLuise was arrested.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said that the investigation is still ongoing “relative to the male allegedly contacted by DaLuise” to perform the hit.
DaLuise has worked with stars Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Silverstone, Sarah Michelle Gellar and others. When a competitor moved into her building, DaLuise figured she’d just “eliminate” the competition.
Daluise is being held on $1 million bail.
