Seattle Doughnut Shop That Golden Tate Broke Into Tweets a Sweet Farewell

Wide receiver Golden Tate has left the Emerald City of Seattle for the lovely burned out wreckage that is Detroit.

The Lions signed Tate on Wednesday to a 5 year, $31 million deal.

While the 12th man will miss Tate on the field and around the city, one particular Seattle establishment wanted to say a proper farewell via Twitter:

Seems Tate was big fan of Top Pot Doughnuts and when he was a rookie he lived above the place. He also was busted for breaking into the joint at 3 a.m. four years ago.

“They’re irresistible. If you ever want some maple bars, that’s the place to go,” Tate said.

Forgive and forget. Mmmmm…doughnuts.
