(VIDEO) Red Sox Tip Caps to Marathon Victims, Boston Firefighters on Opening Day

The Boston Red Sox celebrated their 2013 World Series championship at Fenway Park on Friday.

Overall, it was a classy and understated ceremony. The Sox got their rings, the banner was raised and the team honored the victims of last years Boston Marathon bombing as well as the Boston Fire Department, who lost two heroes in a Back Bay fire last week.

The Red Sox would go on to drop the home opener to the Brewers 6-2.
