I don’t like Monday’s…I looovvveee Monday’s. Your humble-but-nonetheless-handsome Guru is back to his winning ways. We hit a rough stretch last week, but all that turned around last night as we rolled out three different rosters and ca$hed in 6-of-7 contests we entered. KA-CHING! Cancun here we come.
We’ll look to roll over our winnings Tuesday night. We have all 30 teams on the schedule, some high over/unders, some threats of rain and some money to spend.
Here’s the Dirty Turban roster we’re rolling with tonight 4/29.
All values are based on DraftKings pricing.
SP 1 – Jose Fernandez, $11,600: We are taking the a$e and $tack approach with this roster tonight and Jo-Fer is our ace. While he’ll be one of the most owned players tonight this matchup is just too juicy to pass up against a Braves team with 226 strikeouts on the year.
SP 2 – Matt Cain, $7,800: A lot of nice arms on the board with Greinke, C.C.,Verlander taking the bump tonight. We’re going Cain at ta$ty price against a bad Padres lineup that he has owned.
C – Brian McCann, $4,000: We don’t usually $pend on catcher (it’s a tough position to predict), but we love McCann to have a big night at the house across the street from the house that Ruth built. Watch for rain, though and have a backup lineup on the ready.
1B – Mark Teixeira, $3,900: Teixeira? Really? The best first base options are damn pricey tonight. We’re rolling out a Yankees $tack vs. some bad Mariners pitching.
2B – Dustin Pedroia, $4,400: Look for runs to be scored at Fenway tonight. We’ll be rolling out another roster stacked with $ox against backing practice pitcher Erik Bedard who won’t last three innings.
3B – David Wright, $4,600: In 63 AB’s, Wright has cru$hed Cole Hamels (who’s making his second start of the year) with 5 HR and a 1.055 OPS.
SS – Chris Owings, $2,400: A punt play with some upside – Owings is averaging 6+ FPTS over his last four games – in a game that should be high $coring in Arizona.
OF 1 – Jacoby Ellsbury, $4,400: The Yanks will tee off on the Mariners and Ells Bells will be right in the middle of it hitting, $tealing, $coring and looking $ooo cute.
OF 2 – Carlos Beltran, $4,400: Beltran hitting left-handed against a bad pitcher at Yankee Stadium. There will be firework$ in the Big Apple and Beltran will go boom tonight.
OF 3 – Ichiro Suzuki, $2,400: The final piece of our pinstripe $tack. This may be the only time this season we have the 127-year-old Ichiro on our team.
Make sure to check the lineups, give a look at the weather and good luck.
