Josh Beckett Throws No-No, Amelia Earhart Found, Bigfoot Captured, Hell Freezes Over

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers at Philadelphia Phillies

Los Angles Dodgers pitcher Josh Beckett was making history in the city of Brotherly Love Sunday as the LA right-hander threw a no-hitter in a 6-0 win over the Phillies. It’s the first no-hitter of Beckett’s career.

Chicken and beer for everyone!

There was some drama in the ninth as Beckett walked Jimmy Rollins with two outs, but Beckett struck out Chase Utley to end it.

Beckett is the first Dodger to pitch a no-hitter since Hideo Nomo in 1996. It’s the 21st no-hitter in Dodgers franchise history.
