(PHOTO) Target Field to Debut Self-Serve Beer Station

Just in time for the MLB All-Star game next week, Target Field in Minnesota has unveiled their new self-serve beer station.


According to a Target Field spokesman, fans have to show ID to a cashier in order to purchase a drink card – no one needs a bunch of drunk kids running around the park. The card is then used to select your favorite brew, paying by the ounce. Budweiser and Bud Light are 38 cents an ounce while Shock Top and Goose Island run 40 cents an ounce. Sorry, no Pabst Blue Ribbon, but still a  pretty good deal.


What could possible go wrong with a robot bartender? I just imagine some fat, drunk Yankees fan in front of me suckling at the beer teat then hurling all over his Crocs.
