Seattle Mariners closer Fernando Rodney likes to pimp his saves by reaching back and firing an imaginary arrow into the sky. He’s done it 27 times this season and was shooting off his “bow” when he closed out the eighth inning Sunday against the LA Angels.
The Halos noticed the premature archery and it was Albert Pujols and Mike Trout doing the William Tell routine after Rodney blew the save by walking Trout and allowing a game tying double to Pujols.
After Trout scored, he and Pujols let the arrows fly.
The best thing about arrows? They can be fired right back at your opponent. http://t.co/q1o4OIpxa7

The Angels would win it two batters later when Grant Green hit a walk-off single.
